Kamini Bonsai is a gorgeous natural dwarf type of Kamini. With tiny leaves and scattered ramifications, this plant fulfils the bonsai characteristics properly. The plant is local to the Indian subcontinent and China. It may reach a height of 6-10 inches. The dark green colour leaves permit the bush to be pruned intently. If you’re new to bonsai trees, this is the perfect plant to start with. It’s better to keep Kamini bonsai inside in moderate indirect light because it flourishes in this kind of climate. Besides, having sufficient air circulation and surrounding ventilation will help to grow this type of plant.  Alkaline, clay, sandy, acidic and humid soil are perfect for Kamini. Moisture soil will be better but try to concern that the soil must not be damp or soggy. The well-drained soil will give you the best result.

This plant likes moisture that’s why it need water on a regular basis. There should not be any water logging in the soil, as this might harm the plant.  During the growth, season feed your plant – Soil : 65 % Potting Soil + 25 % Organic manure/ Vermicompost + 5 % charcoal chips + 5 % perlite.

Dos and Don’ts after receiving Kamini Bonsai

• After collecting the plant, do not re-pot it quickly.
• When the tree’s roots begin to overrun the pot, repot it.
• Keep it in indirect sunlight for three to seven days.
• You can prune it over the winter to get the desired size and shape.
